BioDME steel towers successfully put in place
On the last Sunday of May the 21 meters high steel towers forming the main process unit of the new BioDME plant were put in place beside Chemrec's development plant in Piteå. With the gas flare on top the plant has become a northern Statue of Liberty.

Simulation of the scaled-up gasifier
Chemrec's gasifier up-scaled 25 times will produce the same excellent quality syngas as in the development plant. This was shown in a simulation model used within a 3-year national research program.
